Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee

THAT the Brockville Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee provide the following recommendation with respect to the Brockville Museum as a result of the audit conducted on October 14, 2025: 1. Physical and Built Environment Upgrades  Install push button door opener closer to the entrance door.  Upgrade washrooms to meet full AODA design standards 2. Information and Communication Improvements  Upgrade signage throughout the museum to include Braille and tactile lettering.  Provide exhibit materials in alternative formats, such as large-print booklets and audio guides. 3. Transportation  Repaint and resize parking spaces  Consider whether an accessible space is possible. 4. Monitoring and Reporting  Schedule annual accessibility audits and integrate results into the municipality's Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.  Report progress to the Brockville Accessibility Advisory Committee and municipal council annually.

THAT the BMAAC meeting be adjourned until its next regular meeting scheduled for January 14, 2026.
