THAT the minutes of the Heritage Brockville Committee meeting dated December 11, 2024, be adopted as circulated.

THAT subject to the heritage designation report on the Brockville Arts Centre being amended to include the revised text under Recommendations, the Brockville Municipal Heritage Committee recommends that the exterior of the building be designated under the Ontario Heritage Act, and general appearance and brick façade of the building and tower be preserved.; and THAT the report be presented to the Planning and Development Committee for consideration.

THAT subject to the heritage designation report on the Fire Hall at 61 Perth Street being amended to include the revised text under Recommendations, the Brockville Municipal Heritage Committee recommends that the exterior of the building be designated under the Ontario Heritage Act, the general appearance and stone façade of the building and tower be preserved. Any future alterations affecting the exterior of the building, such as window and door replacements, are recommended to be sympathetic in design to the overall historical architectural features of the building; and THAT the report be presented to the Planning and Development Committee for consideration.
