THAT Council for the Corporation of the City of Brockville, acting pursuant to Section 51 (6) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, grants final approval to Hunters Hill Subdivision, Wildwood Crescent - Phase III, specifically with respect to being described as Part Lot 13, Part 1, Reference Plan 28R12528, Save and Except Plans 28M-3 and 28M-13, City of Brockville, Concession 2, County of Leeds; as shown on Schedule “A”. THAT following the notification provision s in accordance with Section 36 of the Planning Act, a by-law be passed to remove the “H1” Holding symbol from Lots 1 through 10, inclusive, shown on the Draft Plan of Subdivision for Hunters Hill Subdivision, Wildwood Crescent - Phase III.

THAT direction be provided to Staff respecting solicitation for Public comment on the matter of whether the City of Brockville should “Opt-Out” of permitting Private Cannabis Retail Stores within the limits of the Corporation of the City of Brockville; THAT the Corporation of the City of Brockville not “Opt-Out” of permitting Private Cannabis Retail Stores within the limits of the Corporation of the City of Brockville; THAT Staff develop a Municipal Cannabis Policy Statement to be brought forward to Council at a future date; and THAT J. Faurschou, Planner I, and A. McGinnis, Planner II, be named as contacts to provide a one-window approach to co-ordinate municipal input to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regarding proposed cannabis stores.
