Council

THAT the minutes of the Council Meeting of January 30, 2018 be adopted and circulated as read.

THAT Council do hereby proclaim March 2018 as "Children's Wish Month" in the City of Brockville.

THAT Council authorize the appointment of Kendra Lorimer and Amanda Robinson to the Island Breakfast Committee (term to expire November 30, 2018); and THAT Council authorize the appointment of Jeremy Hobbs and Brad Snelling to the Aquatarium Board (term to expire November 30, 2021); and THAT Council authorize the appointment of Donald Church to the Brockville Cemetery Board (term to expire November 30, 2021); and THAT Richard Fancy be removed from the Brockville Cemetery Board; and THAT the necessary by-law be enacted.

THAT the following items, as listed on the Finance, Administration and Operations Committee agenda are recommended by the Committee to be passed by Consent Agenda

THAT Report 2018-023-02 be received for information purposes.

THAT pursuant to Municipal Act , 2001, Section 239 Sub. 2 (c), Council resolve itself into the Committee of the Whole, In Camera, closed to the public to consider: a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board;

THAT Council rise from Committee of the Whole, In Camera and the Chairman report that all recommendations adopted in Committee of the Whole, In Camera, be adopted.

THAT By-laws Numbered 009-2018 and 010-2018 be introduced and the same be now read a first, second and third time, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation and be recorded.

THAT By-law Number 011-2018 to confirm the Proceedings of Council at its meeting held on February 27, 2018 be read a first, second and third time, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation and be recorded.

THAT Council adjourn its proceedings until the next regular meeting scheduled for March 13, 2018.
