Council (budget)

THAT Council approve the addition to the 2015 Capital Budget of a project in the amount of $350,000 for the construction of additional taxiways at the airport, with the project only to proceed upon the signing of land leases .

THAT the amount of funding be reduced to a maximum of $250,000 and that a minimum of $100,000 grant funding be sought and applied.

THAT Council approve the addition to the 2015 Capital Budget of a project in the amount of $250,000 for the construction of a dditional taxiways at the airport, with the project only to proceed upon the signing of land leases.

THAT the Wastewater Forcemain project be removed from the 2015 Capital Budget.

THAT the Fire Master Plan in the amount of $25,000 be removed from the 2015 Capital Budget.

THAT the amount of $25,00 0 for the Centeen Park Parking project be removed from the 2015 Capital Budget.

THAT Council approve the additional of $45,681 into the 2015 Operating Budget to continue a 13 month pilot program of the extension of operating hours for one (1) Conventional Transit bus and one (1) Specialized Transit (PARA) bus from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday to Friday; and THAT a report be made at the January 2016 Finance, Administration and Operations Committee meeting on the results of the extended trial program.

THAT By-law Number 005-2015 to confirm the Proceedings of Council at its meeting held on January 20, 2015 be read a first and second time.
