THAT the public comments regarding the Community Flag Raisings and Flag Protocol Policy be received for information.

THAT staff review the flag policy with respect to flag raising requests and compatibility with government of Canada standards; and THAT staff conduct an online survey to collect public input on community flag raising protocol and the display of flags of other nations; and THAT staff solicit comment from organizations that have requested flag raisings in the past; and THAT staff provide a summary of flag protocol of other Ontario communities; and THAT staff report back to the General Committee at April meeting.
