THAT pursuant to Municipal Act , 2001, Section 239 Sub. 2 (f), Council resolve itself Closed Session, closed to the public to consider: advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose. (Legal update - Tall Ships Landing)

THAT Council rise from the Closed Session without reporting.

THAT the minutes of the Council Meetings of January 24, 2023, January 31, 2023, and February 21, 2023 be adopted and circulated as read.

THAT Council do hereby proclaim March 2023 to be National Epilepsy Awareness Month in the City of Brockville; and THAT March 26, 2023 be proclaimed as Purple Day.

THAT the following items, as listed on the General Committee agenda are recommended by the Committee to be passed by Consent Agenda: For: Mayor Wren, Councillor Deery, Councillor Earle, Councillor Fullarton, Councillor Hobbs, Councillor Kalivas, Councillor Lavergne, Councillor Severson, and Councillor Wales

THAT the Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a lease agreement renewal between the Brockville Theatre Guild (BTG), Brockville Operatic Society (BOS) and the City of Brockville for January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024. For: Mayor Wren, Councillor Deery, Councillor Earle, Councillor Fullarton, Councillor Hobbs, Councillor Kalivas, Councillor Lavergne, and Councillor Severson

THAT By-law Numbered 017-2023 be introduced and the same be now read a first, second and third time, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation and be recorded.

THAT By-law Number 018-2023 to confirm the Proceedings of Council at its meeting held on February 28, 2023 be read a first, second and third time, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation and be recorded.

THAT Council adjourn its proceedings until the next regular meeting scheduled for March 14, 2023 .
