Council (including budget)

THAT the minutes of the Council Meetings of October 21, 2022, November 21, 2022, December 6, 2022, December 13, 2022, January 10, 2023 and January 17, 2023 be adopted and circulated as read.

THAT Council hereby proclaim February 13, 2023 Wear Red Canada Day in the City of Brockville.

THAT the following items, as listed on the General Committee agenda are recommended by the Committee to be passed by Consent Agenda: For: Mayor Wren, Councillor Deery, Councillor Earle, Councillor Fullarton, Councillor Hobbs, Councillor Kalivas, Councillor Lavergne, and Councillor Severson

THAT Council approve, in principle, the 2023 City Department Operating budgets for a net levy of $23,369,537, not including Capital.

THAT Council table Staff report No. 2023-13, 2023 Operating Budget until the complete budget has been presented. For: Mayor Wren, Councillor Kalivas, Councillor Deery, Councillor Earle, Councillor Fullarton, Councillor Hobbs, Councillor Lavergne, Councillor Severson, and Councillor Wales

THAT By-laws Numbered 009-2023 to 011-2023 be introduced and the same be now read a first, second and third time, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation and be recorded.

THAT By-law Number 012-2023, to confirm the Proceedings of Council at its meeting held on January 24, 2023 be read a first, second and third time, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation and be recorded.

THAT Council adjourn its proceedings until the next regular meeting scheduled for February 14, 2023 .
